About Janita

Dear friends,

I am thrilled to say that I have been very busy working on interior design, including an 18,000 square foot home with a two-story tall opera house inside it!

I have also been starting a couple new exciting writing projects. One of them is a collection of short stories. Right now, I’m calling it “Tales of the Orient”, and it will feature many intriguing stories geared towards children. These stories will center around China and will showcase the rich culture I was blessed to know as a child. My original hope was to write this collection as a storybook with my own illustrations and watercolor work. As of right now, it is already expanding to a screenplay and being sent out to professional animators for a possible short animated film. This is so exciting to me, and I am happy to share this news with you!

The second project is a collection of very unique ghost stories. Some of them will be based on true events, and they take place all over the world. My first one is about an experience I had first-hand at another Opera House here in Texas. But most of them will be coming from stories told to me as a child. My father would hire us children a story-teller to keep us entertained, usually on the weekends. Uncle Woo, the story-teller, would sip on wine, and the more he drank the scarier the stories became! This is such an enjoyable thing to work on since it’s almost Halloween… WOOOooo!

One more update: My book has now been place on the Barnes & Noble website for purchase as an e-book! Check out the link: CLICK HERE!

Thank you for joining me on this thrilling journey. Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Blessings to you,
